Description
A beautiful pair of vintage 9ct yellow gold stud earrings, each set with a natural oval-cut emerald in a sparkling halo of clear cubic zirconia. The green emeralds have a lovely natural character, with visible inclusions and a softly cloudy appearance that gives them genuine charm.
Each emerald is framed by eight brilliant round-cut CZ stones, creating a bright diamond-alternative sparkle around the centre gemstone. The contrast of vivid green and clear white sparkle looks wonderfully glamorous.
The earrings are designed in a traditional halo style, with prominent claws to protect the gemstones and secure butterfly backs for comfortable wear. Likely dating to the late 1970s, they have a classic, elegant appearance that can be worn daily.
