This striking vintage Modernist ring features a beautifully faceted 7.5ct Smoky Quartz bezel-set in a bold solid sterling silver signet-style mount. Made in London in 1975, it reflects the clean lines and bold form typical of 1970s design.
The round-cut Smoky Quartz is 12.8mm in diameter and 8.9mm deep, with a warm light brown body tone and soft pink secondary hues. Its domed cut adds subtle sparkle, catching the light from all angles. The thick, weighty silver mount is sculptural and smooth, tapering from a wide bezel to a solid 4.8mm rear band for comfort.
Fully hallmarked for London 1975 with import marks and a maker’s stamp of AVM. This ring has a lovely vintage character with some expected scuffs to the silver from gentle wear. The gemstone remains flawless.
