Set in 9ct white gold, the gemstone is cradled by an exceptional wireframe structure that is both delicate and robust, embodying the bold aesthetics of brutalist design.
Hallmarked with English marks, including the 9 hallmark and 375 for 9ct gold, and assayed in London with a date letter ‘Q’ for 1971. It also features an unknown maker’s mark, CPA.
The Smoky Quartz measures 17.3mm in diameter and 10.5mm deep, weighing an impressive 15.6ct. Its very light, clear brown shade with subtle pink hues makes it a rare and stunning centrepiece, brilliantly faceted to enhance its natural beauty.
