A proper statement ring! With large panel of moss green natural Ocean Jasper.
Polished to a cabochon, this large oval Ocean Jasper measures 41.7mm long x 17.6mm wide.
It is a lovely gemstone. Only found in Madagascar. This particular Ocean Jasper has some silica trapped within it, & perhaps some quartz. It has a line of opal like sheen running through it – it catches the light & flashes blues & green.
The Ocean Jasper is bezel set on a wide banded sterling silver ring. This ring is stamped 925 on the inside of the band. There is a heavily worn makers mark also.

This solid silver ring with Ocean Jasper is vintage & pre-owned. It was likely made in the 1970s, based on style & wear. It is in good condition for age, although you should expect some marks & scuffs to the silver bezel from wear.
