Description
Here we have a Blue Howlite ring, set in rhodium plate on silver. The Howlite is a nice bright blue cabochon, with a small spiders web inclusion running across the bottom of the stone.
The Howlite is set in a 3 prong claw setting. The ring itself is distinctly rhodium plated, with that mirror metallic sheen.
There are no stamps or makers marks. Normally rhodium is plated on top of silver, but we are unable to confirm this.
⭐ This ring has been worn and shows signs of being resized to a larger size at some point in its life – the band at the rear of the ring shows a little stretching.
⭐ There are some use marks, but nothing major. The ring is in very good condition.
⭐ This ring is suitable for daily wearing. Howlite is not a particularly fragile stone and it is solidly set in the ring.
⭐ This ring is for small to medium fingers – size M (UK) / 6.5 (US).
⭐ The band is 2.4mm wide at narrowest point and 6.5mm at the widest.
⭐ The Howlite is 14mm x 10mm, with a depth of 3.5mm. The central setting is 6.5mm high.
