This vintage solid silver ring features a bright oval-cut Blue Topaz set into a heavy Scandinavian-style modernist signet design. Likely dating to the 1970s, it has a bold sculptural shape, wide shoulders & a clean bezel-style setting.
The natural Blue Topaz measures approx. 12.1mm x 10.6mm and has a beautiful clear blue colour. The oval cut catches the light beautifully.
This vintage silver ring is stamped 925 on the outside of the band, a placement often seen on Scandinavian jewellery. The design has the strength of a traditional signet ring, but with a distinctive modernist twist, making it ideal for collectors of unusual vintage silver jewellery.
Blue Topaz is the birthstone for December and is associated with calm, clarity & communication. It is also traditionally linked to the 4th wedding anniversary.
