This vintage sterling silver hinged bangle was fully hallmarked in Birmingham in 1976 and features bold diamond-cut engraving, a safety chain & patented lift catch.
The front is decorated with deeply textured, repeating diamond-cut motifs that catch the light beautifully.
Hinged bangle with an unusual patented lift catch and its original safety chain still intact.
Inside you’ll find full English hallmarks, including the Lion Passant for sterling silver, Birmingham assay mark and date letter B for 1976, alongside the maker’s mark BLd and PAT No. 1167637. The English hallmark guarantees the silver’s purity & authenticity.
It has that unmistakable chunky 1970s look without being overly heavy on the wrist. Strong, stylish & very wearable.
