Vintage late 1970s sterling silver ring featuring a rare rectangular rose cut Smoky Quartz in a bold modernist tension setting—chunky silver split band, sleek lines & striking 6ct gem!
This vintage silver ring centres on a light Smoky Quartz measuring 14mm x 11mm x 6mm deep, weighing approx. 6ct. The unusual rectangular rose cut delivers soft pink & orange flashes through its smoky body colour, adding elegance & energy to the minimal design.
The gem is tension-set within a split band, typical of late modernist style. Thick shoulders frame the stone securely while enhancing the open, sculptural feel. The inside is stamped 925 for sterling silver & features an unidentified maker’s mark shaped like a small bird.
