Antique Edwardian Brooch in Rose Gold Silver 1908 – Shamrock Isle of Man

An Edwardian twin shield brooch dated 1908.

This is a complicated brooch With English hallmarks, it must be the three legs of the Isle of Mann. But then there are shamrock also present, for Ireland.

It is likely something to do with St. Patrick who drove snakes form the Isle of Mann & is of course patron saint of Ireland.

There is a makers hallmark of H&W – Henry Williamson who’s shop was at Spencer Street, Birmingham

This pretty brooch has a hollow silver frame, with Rose Gold plated accents
