This striking vintage cocktail ring, crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold, showcases a large, natural Citrine gemstone.
The vibrant golden yellow Citrine, with subtle green secondary hues, is oval faceted and measures an impressive 19mm long x 15mm wide x 9.8mm deep, weighing just over 15 carats. This Citrine is not heat treatment, & exudes a natural brilliance that captures the light beautifully.
Fully hallmarked, the ring was assayed in Birmingham, England, in 1964. The traditional English hallmarks, including the 9 & 375 stamp for 9ct gold, authenticate the ring’s origin and guarantee its gold purity. The piece also bears the unknown maker’s hallmark “PJCE”
Designed in the glamorous mid-century era of the 1960s, this statement ring embodies the opulence of the period with its intricate fancy shoulders and thick, heavy claws securing the gemstone. The bold design makes it perfect for occasional wear, ideal for special events and parties.
