A bold and beautifully colourful pair of vintage sterling silver huggie hoop earrings, set with vivid blue opal panels that flash with bright green fire. Their chunky segmented design gives them a strong, modern look, while the intense opal colour makes them wonderfully eye-catching.
Each earring features six rectangular opal panels, individually set into a substantial sterling silver hoop. The opals have a rich electric blue body colour with lively green flashes, creating a striking contrast against the polished silver.
The earrings are stamped 925 for sterling silver and also carry a stylised maker’s mark that appears to read 33 within a circle, though it is difficult to make out clearly. They are fitted with post and butterfly backs.
These earrings are pleasingly weighty and well made, with a thick 5.5mm hoop width and a 19mm diameter. Their huggie style makes them ideal for daily wear, while the vibrant opal panels give them enough impact for evening or occasion styling too.
