A bold and timeless vintage three-stone ring crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold, hallmarked in London in 1979. This English-made piece features a deep midnight blue Sapphire flanked by two sparkling Diamonds illusion set in white gold star-shaped panels. The white gold setting enhances the brilliance of the Diamonds, giving the appearance of a much larger stone.
The ring’s thick yellow gold band offers a striking contrast to the cool tones of the white gold and gemstones. Sculpted claws secure each stone, and the raised gallery allows light to pass through, enhancing sparkle. A standout retro design with all the durability for daily wear.
This ring carries full English hallmarks, including the London Assay Office’s Leopard Head, a date letter for 1979, and a 375 stamp for 9K gold purity. It also bears an unknown maker’s mark, “EL.”
