As of the 29th August 2025, the US Government has removed de minimis allowance on goods sent from the UK to the USA.

This means there is now a 10% tariff for jewellery from the UK. If the item is $50, the tariff charge is $5 / If the item is $100 the tariff charge is $10 & so on…

Vittori & Hive continue to offer free postage to the USA. We will also try & avoid the tariff where we can. Here is how it works…

• US Customs now requires your email & telephone number for shipping.
• Place your order as usual, but be sure to include your telephone number with your order.
• We will email you a link to pay the tariff in advance.
• Alternatively, you can wait for your parcel & US Customs will contact you before delivery. Your parcel will not be released by US Customs until the tariff is paid.
• Vittori & Hive send items marked as gifts. Further, we send most items as ‘Antiques’ & technically this should avoid tariff charges, although this is proving to not always be the case.
• We can send items as zero cost. However this means your parcel will not be insured. 99.9% of our parcels reach their destination without problem. You must contact us to arrange this.
