Vintage 1959 bi-colour stud earrings in 9ct white and yellow gold featuring a marquis-cut blue sapphire on each earring.
The central sapphires measure 4.9mm long by 2.7mm wide, exhibiting a clear blue saturation and good clarity.
The stones are integrated into a textured, leaf-like organic spray design that balances warm yellow gold work with bright white gold accents, secured by large protective claws.
The earrings are constructed with traditional post backings and secure butterfly backs, offering a lightweight 1.1g total composition that makes them comfortable for daily wear. Struck with full English hallmarks, the settings carry Birmingham import marks, the 375 standard mark for 9ct gold, the date letter K for 1959, and the maker’s mark XX.
