Vintage Art Nouveau Amber Phenolic Lily Flower Torpedo Dangle Earrings in Sterling Silver
£92.00 £82.80
Retro French Hook Orange Stone Dangly Silver Earrings
Sublime pair of sterling silver dangle earrings, with Art Nouveau floral forms.
These earrings likely date from the 1930s & use phenolic resin in place of amber, for the torpedo drop. Amber phenolic resin was developed alongside Bakelite, as very early plastics.
The silver mount is hand made to emulate lily of the valley flower – very typical of European Art Nouveau.
These vintage solid silver earrings are stamped 925 for sterling silver.
There is an unknown makers mark of AD. This mark is very worn from a century of use.
⭐ These 1930s silver dangle earrings weigh 5.6g combined.
⭐ They are 48mm long & 15mm wide.
⭐ They dangle length is 60mm including the hook.
⭐ They have a French hook
These solid silver amber phenolic earrings are vintage & pre-owned. They are in good condition with some light marks & tarnish that could be removed. The phenolic has the odd light mark but nothing that detracts.
