Old English Luck Brooch Horseshoe Floral Art Nouveau Sterling Silver
Antique silver good luck brooch, from 1890s England.
Victorian Aesthetic style, with flowers & floral scrolls entwined around a central horseshoe.
This brooch was made by Sydenham Brothers of Tenby Street, Birmingham. Renowned for their flower designs. They actually moved into being seed merchants over time!
This pretty silver brooch has English hallmarks – it was assayed in Birmingham England in 1890. There is a traditional Lion Passant for sterling silver.

This antique silver good luck pin is vintage & pre-owned. It is 135 years old. It is in good condition, with some wear although nothing that detracts. There is a small bobble missing from the outside of the brooch.
