Vintage Marcasite Art Nouveau Style Silver Ring
This vintage silver Marcasite ring has a beautiful Art Nouveau revival style, with sparkling Marcasite stones set into a wide floral leaf design.
The front of the ring has lovely openwork detail, with flowing scrolls, leaf shapes & fine beadwork giving it a delicate antique-inspired look. Small Marcasite stones are set throughout the design, catching the light with a subtle silver sparkle.
This vintage solid silver ring is stamped 925 for sterling silver. The style suggests an Art Nouveau revival piece, likely dating to the 1980s. It has a nice wide band shape, making it feel substantial on the finger while still keeping an elegant, lace-like design.
Marcasite has long been used in vintage jewellery for its soft metallic sparkle. It became especially popular in Victorian, Art Deco & revival jewellery, often chosen for its dramatic antique look.
