A gold plated gypsy ring with a large bright red natural Almandine Garnet.

The Garnet has great colour & clarity – a very vibrant red that is free from any eye visible inclusions.
The Garnet measures 10.8mm long x 6.8mm wide x 5.3mm deep. This is approximately 3 carat in weight.

The silver ring is gold plated. There is wear on the back of the band.

Based on the colour of the Garnet & the wear to the gold plating, we expect this ring to date from the 1970s.

This ring is stamped on the inside of the band: G/P ON SILV 1354
