Old English Silver Locket with Silver Gem Stones Sun Rays Design
A truly beautiful little silver locket, from an established English maker, dated 1957-8
DH Phillips is best known for ballerina brooches. This pendant shows the same attention to detail.
This pendant has a multi-point star design, with varying sizes of natural Marcasite accenting the design. This little pendant really shines.
This locket can take 2 small photos, with a diameter of roughly 17mm. Whilst the backing is discoloured, the plastic covers are still in place so still fit for purpose.
There are English hallmarks on the reverse, being assayed in Birmingham England in 1957. There is a traditional Lion Passant for sterling silver. There is a makers mark of DHP for DH Phillips.

This beautiful silver locket is vintage & pre-owned. It is nearly 70 years old. The reverse has a slight dent but the front & sides are perfect. All the Marcasite are in place. There is some slight wear to the floral engraving around the edges.
This locket is pictured with a 16” box chain, in sterling silver. It is for photo purposes, but if you need a chain then please message us & we will include this with the sale.
