Victorian Multi Stone Gold Ring

A beautifully sentimental antique 9K yellow gold ring featuring the classic REGARD acrostic design, where each gemstone represents a letter: Ruby, Emerald, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby, and Diamond. This romantic Victorian tradition was a way to express deep love, respect, and admiration. Crafted with delicate beadwork along the band and bezel-set gemstones, this piece is a wonderful example of 19th-century jewellery craftsmanship.

This ring bears English hallmarks inside the band, which are heavily worn from over a century of use. There is a visible Crown Passant and 375 stamp, confirming 9K gold purity. The date mark is no longer readable, but the style and wear suggest an early Victorian origin, likely between 1840-1860. There is an unknown maker’s hallmark, HBJ.
