It is a fascinating gemstone with its own unique character. The inclusions give it depth & a story.
The Diamonds are 2.3mm in diameter & 1.2mm deep. They are circular-brilliant cut. Just before the modern brilliant round cut was fully used as industry standard. They are very clean with & have some fire, but not the finest quality. They are colourless & free from inclusions.

This ring is antique. There is wear to the Emerald – they are quite soft – under a 10x loupe you see some scratches & scuffs. The table (top) of the Emerald has worn to be uneven. A couple of the gold claws holding the Emerald are bent – see photos.
Nonetheless, this ring is still stunning. The points above are to note – it is still a completely unique antique emerald surrounded by very bright gemstones!
Despite not having a legible date letter, this ring is expected to date from the 1920-30s. This is based on the style of the ring, the wear, the cut of the diamonds & the untreated nature of the Emerald.
