Large Purple Gem Stone Yellow Gold Pendant on Long Chain
Stunning Italian gold necklace with a large natural Amethyst with Diamond accents.
This natural Amethyst in this pendant is stunning. It is large – the gemstone measures 12mm wide x 16mm long x 7.9mm deep. This is roughly 8 carat in weight.
It is oval cut with great faceting. This Amethyst is very clear with great colour. It is a deep regal purple that des have a little zoning – it moves to a lighter purple near the very edge. This Amethyst is fantastic.
Which is why it comes with small Diamond accents on two corners of the pendant, sent into the gold plated mount. The Diamonds are small but are round cut.
The pendant is yellow gold plated on sterling silver. It is stamped 925 for sterling silver.
The is a makers mark of STS.
The chain is 29” long & simply slips over your head. It is stamped ITALY 925 – sterling silver.

This yellow gold plated Amethyst necklace is vintage & pre-owned. It is not that old – perhaps 1990s. There is very little sign of wear & in fantastic condition.
